1. Information Stored Locally on Your Mac

Aicde Wallpaper is designed to manage wallpapers on your device. Wallpaper files that you import, playback settings, scheduling rules, category names, and similar preferences are primarily stored locally on your Mac.

We do not require you to create a personal profile with your name, email address, or phone number in order to use the core local wallpaper features.

2. Information Processed for Online Gallery Features

When the app loads or when online gallery features are used, the app may connect to services operated through Google Firebase and related cloud infrastructure. These services may process:

• an anonymous authentication identifier created by Firebase Authentication;
• requests for wallpaper listings, categories, thumbnails, and download URLs;
• technical metadata typically generated by internet requests, such as IP address, time of request, and device or network diagnostics.

This processing is used to deliver gallery content, secure downloads, and keep the service operating reliably. We do not use these features to identify you by real name unless you voluntarily provide information to us separately.

3. Downloads and Cloud Content

If you choose to download wallpapers from the gallery, the selected content is transferred to your device and may be served from cloud storage or signed download links. Download activity may be logged to measure service usage, prevent abuse, and support content operations.

4. Purchases and Apple Services

If premium features or purchases are offered through Apple, Apple processes payment information directly under Apple's own terms and privacy policies. We may receive limited transaction or entitlement data needed to validate access, restore purchases, or prevent fraud, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

5. How Information Is Used

• to provide local wallpaper playback, scheduling, and category management;
• to load, display, and download online gallery content;
• to maintain security, debug service issues, and monitor system health;
• to verify purchases or content access rights where applicable;
• to comply with legal obligations and enforce service rules.

6. Sharing and Service Providers

We may use third-party infrastructure providers that process information on our behalf, including hosting, database, authentication, storage, and payment-related platforms. This may include Google Firebase, Google Cloud, and Apple services. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

Local wallpaper files and settings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Server-side logs, anonymous identifiers, and operational records may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or service administration.

8. Your Choices

• you can use local wallpaper features without creating a named account;
• you can remove downloaded wallpaper files and local settings from your Mac at any time;
• if you prefer not to use online gallery services, you can avoid browsing or downloading cloud content.

9. Children's Privacy

Aicde Wallpaper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
